5Superb torch, stunning (literally) brightness. Excellent functionality; button configuration, bluetooth option and all the accessories that come with it. I wasn't sure if I would like the over the head harness but actually, it works really well and is really comfortable. The weight of the product wouldn't have worked with just an elastic 'band' around my head, or I would have had to have tightened it so much it gave me a headache.
My main interest came from being able to replace the battery and not have to purchase a battery pack from LedLenser, unlike a previous manufacturer I used, who charged incredible prices for just a battery with a cable hardwired onto it!
My only slight concern is the fact the cables running from battery pack to the torch are both hardwired at either end. Any damage to the joints and I will need to buy a whole new pack or torch component. This is what ended my use of my previous head torch from another manufacturer, although the joints on the LedLenser do look far more rugged and substantial!
But, if you are looking for something decent and probably long lasting with the flexibility to be worn in multiple different ways, or attached to a bike or helmet, I recommend the H7R Signature.Andrew
